Trial is beginning in Las Vegas in the wrongful death case of LVMPD Detective Justin Terry, who was killed on June 10, 2022, when a 7,000-pound construction beam fell onto his vehicle as he drove beneath an overpass under construction on U.S. Highway 95.

PSR attorneys represent Detective Terry’s wife and sons in a lawsuit alleging that Las Vegas Paving Company failed to ensure the beam was safely fabricated and positioned and to provide adequate warnings and safeguards for motorists. The lawsuit further alleges that Western States Contracting Inc. and its driver negligently operated a tractor-trailer carrying an oversized load that struck and dislodged the beam.

After two decades spent protecting his community, Detective Terry's life was cut tragically short. Now, his family is seeking justice and accountability for his death.

PSR attorneys Robert Glassman and Joe O’Hanlon secured a $10 million settlement on behalf of a commuter who suffered significant injuries due to a dangerous condition at the Wilshire/Normandie Metro Station.

The result reflects PSR’s longstanding reputation for taking on public agencies and other powerful entities—and securing meaningful accountability for clients who have suffered serious, preventable harm.

Braun Levi was 18 years old when a drunk driver took his life. Today, his name is law.

For more than a year, Braun’s mother, Jennifer Levi, and his family have worked tirelessly with lawmakers at the State Capitol, channeling their loss into a determined effort to change the law and help prevent another family from experiencing the same tragedy.

Their work has now become Braun’s Law.

Governor Gavin Newsom has signed Senate Bill 907, authored by Sen. Bob Archuleta, requiring judges to warn drivers whose DUI charges are reduced to lesser offenses that if they drive impaired again and kill someone, they could be charged with murder.

Braun was a senior at Loyola High School and a standout tennis player headed to the University of Virginia. He was killed on May 4, 2025, just weeks before graduation.

Braun should be here today. Instead, his family has fought to make his life—and his name—a force for change.
PSR attorneys Spencer Lucas, Bobby Reagan and Alec Clark represent Braun’s parents in their civil lawsuit against the driver who killed their son. Read more through the link in our bio.

What did Uber know about the driver—and what did it do about it?

PSR partner Ian Samson joined NewsNation’s Jesse Weber Live to discuss the evidence behind the $40 million arbitration award against Uber Technologies, Inc. on behalf of Carol Normandin and Ken Parker, whose 23-year-old daughter, Emily Normandin-Parker, was killed after an Uber driver abandoned her alongside freeway traffic.

Ian highlighted evidence that Uber had received multiple prior complaints about the driver—including reports of erratic driving and driving the wrong way down a street—but did not meaningfully investigate them. He also addressed Uber’s unsuccessful attempt to keep Emily’s parents from publicly discussing the arbitration award. “The arbitrator heard the evidence and considered it all and got it right,” Ian told NewsNation.

Emily’s parents fought for the truth to be heard. Now, they are making sure it is.
