Granderson has been in the Real Estate field for more than 20 years. This broad experience comes from owning one of the largest Century 21 franchises in the Los Angeles region and managing over 220 real estate agents. Marlene understood from her early inception in the real estate business, the need to educate and coach her agents and used that conviction to open her own real estate school. In the
capacity of a mentor and teacher, she personally trained realtors and guided them in their understanding of basic negotiations, professional responsibility, and the rules of ethics, and helped to empower them to successfully manage their licenses. She received an accounting education at North London College, in London, England in 1971. After working in the banking industry, she moved to the United States, became an American citizen, and started working in the Real Estate sector. As a business owner and entrepreneur, Marlene has expanded her operations to develop and manage her own in-house Escrow Company (FTI Escrow) and her own mortgage company (EZ Mortgage). This intimate association with real estate operations gives Marlene the unique ability to work and conduct a variety of complex business transactions. These include, but are not limited to, working with bank asset managers in liquidating their real estate portfolios, completing short sales, and engaging in probate real estate negotiations. In all, she uses her vast years of experience to interpret markets and match products and services with high cost efficiency. Her expansive experience helped her to successfully secure listings, achieve a successful sales history and also helped her to receive several high profile real estate industry awards. As an active member of the Los Angeles business community, Marlene enjoys extensive international travel and is currently engaged in planning several international events, including CHINA-USA SYNERGY, MEXICO-USA SYNERGY, BRAZIL-USA SYNERGY and very recently TAIWAN-USA SYNERGY. This has afforded her with a profound cultural awareness and has helped her to work and conduct business in the LA basin.
