Yes, OpenAI adjusted their policy so estates can now request takedowns of AI likenesses for deceased figures. That’s progress —but let’s be REAL. Real protection means getting consent FIRST, not scrambling with damage control after the fact.
Artists and estates deserve SO much better than this. Period.
