Much respect to the great Dr. Martin Luther King. He fought so much hate and ignorance in his time, so that we could all be closer to enjoying the Dream that he spoke of so eloquently... He is still relevant to this day, not just for our country, but for the people suffering from injustice everywhere, such as the civilians and children in Palestine, whose suffering we have been hearing, seeing and learning so much about. I have posters of Dr. King and Rosa Parks at the entrance of my office, because they remind and inspire me of their strength, courage, and resilience in the Civil Rights Movement, to essentially fight tirelessly for what is right. Their sacrifices, along with that of those who stood with them, paved the way for so many who do not look like the majority, people like my parents who immigrated in the late 60's and early 70's, all the way up to the migrants I represent to this day. Thank you a million times, Dr. King, and may we have some of the same strength, courage and resilience you lived and showed us.
