What did homes sell for in September?

Realtor.com’s September 2026 county reports show these median sold prices:
• Los Angeles County: $915,000
• Orange County: $1,225,000

These are countywide figures. A median is the middle of the reported sale prices—not an average, an asking price, or a valuation of your home. The mix of homes sold can influence the median.

For sellers: Start with recent comparable sales in your neighborhood, then consider condition and the homes competing with yours.
For buyers: Use local closed sales to assess an asking price alongside your budget and the property’s condition.

This Monday, I’m stepping back into a role close to my heart: mentoring fellow real estate professionals. For the third time this year, I’m volunteering as a Certified Mentor with Buffini & Company—this time for the nine-week Finish Strong Blitz.

There’s something special about sharing what experience has taught you, watching someone find their confidence, and learning alongside them. Leading keeps me accountable, too.
