Someone you love dies, and suddenly people start using words like probate, administrator, executor and estate.

It can feel like learning a new language when you’re already overwhelmed.

Probate is a court-supervised process that may be used to identify estate assets, address valid debts and transfer remaining property to the people legally entitled to receive it.

But the first question isn’t always, “How do I open probate?”

Sometimes it’s, “Do we actually need probate?”

I'm an Arkansas attorney, a small business owner, a problem solver, and someone who believes lawyers should explain things in a way normal people can actually understand.

I opened my firm in 2018. Today I serve clients from Conway and Lonoke, with a growing focus on estate planning, small business matters and probate—while continuing to handle selected family-law matters.

Do you know where your original will is?

Not a copy. Not a scanned version. The original.

It’s one of those details that can be easy to overlook—until someone actually needs it.

If you have an estate plan, make sure the people who may need to handle things later know where your important original documents are kept.

And if it’s been a while since you looked at your estate plan, this is a good reminder to pull it out and review it.

You may be seeing a lot more of these two T's.

They're obviously my initials.

But this new brand is about considerably more than a monogram.

My work increasingly centers around helping people answer questions like:

What happens to my family if something happens to me?

How do I protect the business I'm building?

What happens after someone I love dies?

What can I put in place now to make things easier later?

A new look. A clearer focus. The same commitment to the people I serve.

When I opened the Law Office of Tasha Terry, PLLC in 2018, I wanted to build a law practice centered on helping real people through the legal issues that matter in their lives.

A lot has changed since then. The firm has grown. We've expanded from Lonoke to Conway. And my practice has become increasingly focused on helping families and business owners plan ahead—not simply respond when something goes wrong.

Today, I'm excited to introduce the next chapter of the Law Office of Tasha Terry.

Our new brand reflects what I want this firm to stand for:

People. Plans. Protection. Possibilities.

People come first.
Plans create clarity.
Protection brings peace of mind.
And good planning creates possibilities for what comes next.

The firm's primary focus moving forward will be estate planning, small-business matters, and probate and estate administration, while continuing to handle selected family law matters.
