Three years ago today, I swore in to the Texas bar! Seems crazy to me, but here we are. Fun fact: I took the February 2023 bar exam before I graduated law school, so I had to wait for my school to certify my graduation to swear in 🤪

Naomi and I spent our morning at the Wills for Heroes clinic hosted by the Northeast Texas Association of Paralegals and District 14 of the Paralegal Division of the State Bar of Texas. We prepared simple wills, advance directives, and powers of attorney for area U.S. military Veterans and their spouses at no charge as a token of our appreciation for their service and sacrifice for our country.

We moved!

After more hours of work than we could have imagined, we are officially open for business at our new location at 606 E Methvin Street! We have a couple of finishing touches to go on the exterior, but we’re looking forward to serving you in this beautiful and much larger space!

In June, I looked up and realized I had made it through my first year of practicing law. Wow, that was fast!! I am SO excited to keep learning and growing in this field, and I am equally thankful for all of you who have supported me along the way!
