In the real estate industry, one of the most widely praised, and rarely questioned habits is "Hustling 24/7 / Being Always On."

The Praised Routine
Agents are constantly told that success requires answering calls at 11 PM, sacrificing weekends, and treating every waking hour as a lead-generation opportunity. The badge of honor in real estate is always being busy, responsive, and grinding without breaks...AND in my opinion.
Why It's Overrated
While responsiveness matters in sales, the "always-on" habit often leads to diminishing returns: Burnout/Fatigue, Activity vs. Output, Diminished Authority!

True experts set boundaries. Clients respect advisors who manage their time professionally rather than scrambling like order-takers at a moment's notice.
