It’s an amazing day when we’re able to successfully end our client’s 12 year immigration journey. USCIS sent countless RFEs and NOIDs, throughout the case (and the last 6 years I represented him). He was falsely accused of being ineligible for his green card because of arrests that did not turn into convictions. We explained how the arrests did not make him ineligible for his green card, so USCIS denied the first green card application “on discretion.” We refiled and established an error in the discretionary denial, so USCIS issued two more RFEs related to the arrests that did not result in a conviction. After successfully overcoming the RFEs, USCIS was left with no choice but to grant the green card application. I want to thank the client and his wife (picking up the green card here) for their faith in us. And most importantly, I want to applaud them for their perseverance. This green card was definitely earned.
