Bj is a Trauma-Informed Professional Certified Coach & member of ICF and a Certified Daring Way Facilitator, trained to facilitate the work of Dr. Brené Brown. These stories/messages/beliefs are borne of our trauma, our experiences in our family of origin, in school, in work, in the world. Many of these stories are not true but we've taken them on as truth, and they influence the way we respond to
life. When we identify these stories, we can "release" them to make room for our truth. Each of us was born as a gift to the world. There are certain innate characteristics we were created to have: compassion, kindness, love for others, and most importantly, we were born to be worthy of love and belonging. Beyond that, our gifts are varied and often very personal, unique to us. What if you had to describe the very best version of you? What are your greatest gifts? How do you want to use them in life? We have the ability to re-write the ending of our story! And it starts with knowing whom we are. Once we know that, we learn to identify the difference between our truth and the stories that have falsely shaped us. There is tremendous freedom in that. Bj's approach is very organic. Coaching is hands on, often in the moment and experiential in nature. We take what is going on in your life currently and look at how you're responding to it. Most of Bj's clients work with her by phone or FaceTime, so it doesn't matter where you live! David is a Somatic-Based "Green" Life Coach, Mentor, & Spiritual Guide. He is also a Certified Addiction Specialist with 25 years of experience as a drug and alcohol counselor. He facilitates drumming circles and teaches meditation and spiritual practices. David's work is done in person, one on one or in groups, in a natural environment - the beach, a park, hiking trails, etc. We are born for connection - with ourselves and others, as well as a spiritual connection. David's coaching is about creating or restoring connectedness. Through standing and walking meditations, silent meditations, awareness hiking, drumming, fire and prayer ceremonies, creative writing, and nature activities that connect us with the Earth, David has found that rituals can be an effective tool for people who have lost their ability to connect with someone or something greater than themselves. This is especially helpful for individuals who have suffered spiritual abuse on any level. David also facilitates spirituality groups in recovery settings. As a recovering addict, he creates a safe space for people in recovery from substance and process addictions. The focus of David's coaching provides you with tools you can use on your own, anywhere and anytime, to ground yourself - therefore being able to find your truth and remain in it, no matter the circumstances of your surroundings.
