Even when I look back on my childhood this was super important to me to to build a bond and trust. ᴵ ᵂᴬᴸᴷᴱᴰ ᴮᵞ ᵀᴴᴵˢ ᴴᴼᵁˢᴱ ᴹᴬᴺᵞ ᵀᴵᴹᴱˢ. I got to witness my Seller taking great pride in remodeling his parent’s home. Admirable. What really stole my heart about this home were the stories & feelings I collected. ⁣⁣

🤍A neighbor shared a story about my Seller’s parents…all in spanish. 😅 I knew exactly what she was saying by the compassion in her voice. She remembered the couple going on their nightly stroll holding hands. My heart fluttered.⁣

🤗 As I’m talking to the neighbors, a little girl ran right to me & gave me the biggest hug. I almost cried. Lol. That was the most thoughtless & embracing feeling.⁣⁣

🙏🏼 Lastly, this is what did it for me. My Seller shared, for the last 30 years, he would take his parents to dinner every Friday. I felt so much warmth and gratitude in that. Being present is a wonderful gift.⁣⁣

🚪 This weekend I will pay another visit telling the neighbors, “I told you so!” lol Reaffirming this home set the bar. This house sold for $85K over asking setting a record high in the neighborhood! Woot! Woot!⁣

🏡 I can tell this home will continue to be a happy one for the new family. ⁣I am even more happy I got to experience it all and I would do it all over again (even watering my Seller’s lawn 😅). ⁣

If you know me, I never ever skip a meal in my life (lol!). Since Open House it’s been non-stop to where I didn’t eat anything until late-late evening. Received tons of interest and offers on this Downey property. Made sure I was super responsive to everyone. Made connections with some really cool people and neighbors. ⁣⁣

I’m super excited to shout…Woohoo! We are officially now “Under Contract”! Can I get a woot woot! 🙌🏻 ⁣

Downey is such a proud community. The city has developed over the years with yummy eats, shopping centers, downtown events but it’s the genuine people that lives here who are huge on culture and family. I not only live in Downey for over 20 years, I am so grateful to contribute to the home appreciation to a city that will continue to thrive. We ❤️
