Rob Smith is a partner here at Daines, Thomas & Smith.

Rob is licensed to practice law in Utah and Idaho. His law practice is focused on trusts, estates, farm and ranch succession planning, real estate and water law, and many of the legal issues unique to agriculture.

He has served as a member of various boards, including town council, the Utah State University Planned Giving advisory board, the Cache County Planning Commission and as a member of the legislative committee that advises the Utah State legislature on updates to the Utah Probate Code.

Rob has been involved in agriculture all his life. He is currently serving as a director on the Utah Farm Bureau state board.
