Class A misdemeanor Obstruction of Justice charges amended to an infraction for disorderly conduct. Lesson: Sometimes during a detention, even when you are doing everything the police want, if you belittle them while they do it, they may just charge you out of spite. Officers have difficult and dangerous jobs. Both you and they deserve respect when they detain you. Happy Holidays and stay safe.

Second Degree Felony Child Abuse charges dismissed prior to preliminary hearing. Police officers often have to make quick decisions, including when to arrest. They make mistakes like they did here, charging our client. Eventually, Byington & Goble was able to show the other side of the story, which presented a defense to the charges. The the charges were dropped. Congratulations to our very patient client.
