Michael is an accomplished attorney with more than a decade of experience guiding clients, investors, and organizations through complex legal, financial, and development matters. With a background that blends sophisticated legal practice and executive-level oversight of large-scale real estate projects, Michael is known for his strategic judgment, disciplined ex*****on, and ability to navigate every stage of the real estate and corporate lifecycle.

Michael’s real estate experience includes acquisitions, entitlements, equity financing, debt financing, and commercial lease negotiations—including deals involving national credit tenants and sophisticated capital structures such as opportunity zone funds and 1031 exchanges.

Michael’s legal career also includes represented clients in real estate transactions and syndications, estate and tax planning, corporate governance, commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, IP registration and licensing, and the formation and growth of emerging companies. Michael also has deep experience across a range of commercial transactions, litigation strategy, and high-net-worth estate planning.

We are thrilled to welcome Kinzie L. Randall to the Peck Baxter Team!

Kinzie is a Cache Valley native and after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Utah State University in Global Communication, she attended Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska. There she was the president of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and on the Creighton University Arbitration Team, where she competed in the Regional and National competitions. After graduating Magna Cum Laude, she was eager to move back to Cache Valley. She was a judicial law clerk for Judge John D. Luthy on the Utah Court of Appeals before joining Peck Baxter Watkins & Bailey.

Kinzie’s practice is focused on helping people through their difficult times through divorce, custody, and defending criminal charges. With focus on family and criminal law, she wants to make sure everyone is leaving the situation they are in better than she found it. Given the complexity of divorce, custody, and adoption issues, Kinzie aims to make these complex issues simple for everyone to understand.

Mr. Loren Peck has been a valuable member of the Peck Baxter team since 2017, and has consistently proven his work ethic and invaluable experience. He has worked tirelessly to zealously represent his clients since the start of his Peck Baxter tenure.

Mr. Loren Peck got his law degree from the Washington & Lee University School of Law in Virginia in 2017 and is licensed to practice law in Utah. He practices in the areas of serious personal injury, wrongful death, employment law, contracts, and civil rights.

Peck Baxter Watkins & Bailey is pleased to welcome Cole C. Parkinson!

Cole graduated from Utah State University with a B.A in Political Science, a Minor in Sociology, and an Area Studies Certificate in Law and Society. After completing his undergraduate degree, Cole received his law degree from Willamette University College of Law in Salem Oregon. During his time at Willamette, Cole was an active member of the Moot Court Board and was the Vice-President of the Federalist Society. While studying law in the Salem area, Cole interned with the Office of Public Defense Services - Appellate Division (OPDS) and clerked at Tyler Smith & Associates. After passing the Oregon Bar and being admitted to practice in Oregon, Cole has focused primarily on landlord-tenant, estate planning, real estate, and general contract law. Cole is currently working to be admitted to the Utah State Bar.

Cole was raised in Cache Valley for most of his life and now lives in Logan with his wife, Randi. During his free time, Cole enjoys backpacking, golfing, and hunting with his wife and family.
