This is unacceptable. Just in the last 3 months, we have had to take drastic measure to secure the release of 2 clients who were receiving little to no medical treatment at Santa Rita, despite very serious medical conditions. The lack of compassion at that facility is shocking. Hopefully, this additional media coverage and the lawsuits will help end the tragic loss of life that seems to have become commonplace at this facility.
