At the 2026 G7 Summit in France, President Donald Trump criticized the 2015 Iran nuclear deal under Barack Obama, saying Iranians “laughed at Obama” and called him a “stupid son of a bitch,” while also promoting his recent U.S.-Iran peace agreement. Journalist John Harwood cited the clip and interpreted Trump’s focus on Obama as reflecting ongoing personal rivalry, calling Obama a “superior human being.”

In a now expired post to her Instagram Stories, she wrote on Monday, "What happened last night on the lawn of the White House was disgraceful and void of decency. Powerful, rich people filled the lawn to watch a violent sport that ended with a vile and racist comment. All while the average American cannot afford healthcare, gas, and cost of living.”

As Rolling Stone reports, she added, "This administration is corrupt and does not give a damn about the American people. It only cares about making money hand over fist at the expense and in spite of our democracy. If we continue to support this kind of distraction from reality, we are no better than them. Let’s be better, America.”
