I took this photo back in June after receiving this in the mail to send to a group chat and next thing you know, it’s October and I get a text saying “hey, are you doing this thing or what? Mail in ballots are out!”

So here we are…..I guess it’s time to make it Instagram official.

I’m excited to announce that I’m running for Waverly City Council.

Over the last few years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many great people through my work, community involvement, kids’ activities, local events, and just doing life in Waverly. Those conversations have given me a deep appreciation for what makes our community special—and what matters most to the people who call it home.

I’m not a politician. I’m a mom, a business owner, a neighbor, and someone who genuinely loves this town. I’ve sat in the bleachers, volunteered at events, supported local businesses, and experienced the same joys and frustrations that come with living in a growing community.

Waverly is growing, and with growth comes important decisions. I believe those decisions should be made with common sense, transparency, and a focus on preserving the small-town feel that makes Waverly such a great place to live.

I’m happy to share more about why I’m running and what I hope to bring to the council. For now, I simply wanted to say thank you to everyone who has encouraged me, supported me, and convinced me that this was worth pursuing.
