We are proud to announce that Andrew Benchic has joined the firm of Huffman, Kelley & Brock.

Andrew brings with him over a decade of experience as a seasoned trial lawyer, having previously served as an Assistant County Prosecutor in Logan and Putnam County, where he gained extensive courtroom experience and a strong foundation in criminal law. He later transitioned into private practice, focusing on OVI and Criminal Defense, as well as Domestic Relations, Child Custody, and Wills and Estate Planning—advocating for clients throughout the State of Ohio.

A proud "double bear" graduate of the Ohio Northern University College of Arts & Sciences as well as the Claude W. Pettit College of Law, Andrew is known for his strategic advocacy, deep commitment to his clients, and thorough understanding of the law.

Andrew lives in Lima with his wife, Renea, and their two children, Nolan and Harper. We’re thrilled to welcome him — and his passion for justice — to our team.

Our family continues to grow. We welcome Sam Huffman as a practicing attorney at HK&B.

Samuel L. Huffman was born in Lima, Ohio, and graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School. He attended Princeton University, where he majored in History and played defensive back on the Princeton Varsity Football Team. After graduating from Princeton, Sam moved to Chicago where he worked for a research network serving built industry professionals in the areas of technology and innovation.

Sam attended law school at Capital University Law School in Columbus, OH, where he served as a Note Editor for the Capital University Law Review and was a member of the Corporate and Business Law Association. During his time at Capital, Sam also worked in legal positions for an insurance company and private practice law firms in Columbus. Sam earned recognition on the Dean’s List and graduated magna cm laude from Capital in 2023. After graduation, Sam worked for a boutique commercial real estate law firm in Columbus, where he supported local and national clients in a variety of real estate and business matters.

Sam focuses his legal practice in the areas of real estate, corporate law, and civil litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death cases. In his real estate practice, Sam advises clients in the areas of leasing, acquisition, disposition, development, and more. He regularly conducts due diligence, drafts and negotiates contracts, and provides practical, value-added guidance on various issues and opportunities his clients may face. He is passionate about facilitating business and community growth through real estate and economic development. Sam’s experience in complex real estate transactions shapes his pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach to all areas of his practice. He relies on his problem-solving, critical-analysis, and communication skills to resolve complicated issues in a practical and timely manner and help clients achieve their goals.

Outside of the office, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, and visiting Lima’s many parks and downtown establishments. One of his favorite quotes is as follows: “I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.”

We are happy to announce the arrival of Attorney Cheyenne Winegardner as our newest attorney at Huffman, Kelley & Brock.

Cheyenne is a 2022 graduate of the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law and has worked the last several years as a labor and employment attorney and management consultant for both public and private employers around the state of Ohio. Cheyenne will be practicing in all areas of the law and welcomes all new clients.

Cheyenne and her husband, Zach, along with their two children, reside in Ada, Ohio.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of our newest attorney at Huffman, Kelley & Brock, Daniel Unruh.

Daniel is a 2024 graduate of the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law and was sworn in to the practice of law at the Supreme Court of Ohio on May 12, 2025. Daniel will be practicing in all areas of the law and welcomes all new clients.

Daniel resides in Elida, Ohio. He is engaged to his fiancé, Madison, and they will be married this summer.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the arrival of our newest attorney at Huffman, Kelley & Brock, Andrea Henning.

Andrea is a 2005 graduate of the University of Toledo, College of Law. Her practice focuses primarily on traffic, misdemeanor, and felony criminal defense work. She also practices in the area of bankruptcy law, handling both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies.

Andrea was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and currently lives in Lima with her husband, Pete, and their three children.
