Throughout scripture, a period of 40 days represents a time of preparation, purpose, perseverance, and renewal.
It is a time when faith and hard work meet to build something lasting.
Today marks exactly 40 days until Election Day and every single one of those days is an opportunity to stand up for our families, our neighbors, and the future of Woodford County.
At its core, our campaign is about you, your family and our future. It has never been about politics. We are about community, family, and the everyday realities folks are facing right now.
We know people are feeling the pain. National economic pressures and rising costs hit working families, seniors on fixed incomes, and small businesses hard.
That is why our focus has always been on doing everything we can locally to lift that burden, protect your tax dollars, and ensure no one in our community is left behind.
We’ve met these economic challenges head-on by holding the line on spending, cutting taxes, and working on true affordability. When families are having to stretch every single dollar, it is good to know your county government is doing the exact same thing.
Affordability also means standing up for our quality of life and resources. It means making the tough, proactive decisions, like banning massive, resource-heavy data centers that threaten our electric grid, drive up utility bills, and jeopardize the rural character and farmland that make Woodford County so special.
At the same time, preparing for tomorrow requires real investment in the tools our people need to thrive today.
We are aggressively expanding high-speed quality internet to every corner of our county, connecting rural homes, students, farmers, and businesses so everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
This election is about having the courage, compassion, and vision to deliver real results. Our community is better than some of the ugly politics we have seen this year.
