Another jury trial. Another ๐ก๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ.
The Commonwealthโs best offer was a year, with our client serving 6 months in jail. He said no.
Their case hinged on a single blood sample that went missing for 37 days before it ever made it to the lab.
Two simple questions:
1. โWhere was it?โ
2. โHow can a sample that went missing for 37 days prove anything beyond a reasonable doubt?โ
Our Hardin County jury agreed. They held the Commonwealth to its burden and fully acquitted our client.
