Devine Law Group has a new full time attorney to serve our clients! Carl and Della are proud to have Kamryn Stewart officially join the firm as an Associate.
Kamryn graduated magna cm laude from the University of Kentucky in 2021 and from the UK Rosenberg College of Law in 2024. Throughout college and law school, Kamryn’s experience included working at Devine Law, PLLC, Mattmiller Crosbie, PLLC, and Devine Law Group, PLLC as a Law Clerk. She completed internships with the Fayette County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and with Fayette District Court Judge John Tackett. She also served the UK student body for 4 years as the Attorney General for the Student Government Association.

I’m always amazed by April Ballentine and her dedication and passion. I am so fortunate to call her my friend. If you don’t know her story, please take the time to learn more. As we enter Domestic Violence Awareness month, April’s story is a prime example of why this issue is so critical. We must all work together to help end domestic violence in our community.

This past week, I got to attend and participate in so many great community events. I was a presenter at the Grandparents as Parents Conference, which is an event I have been involved in since 2006.
From there, I participated in the first Domestic Violence training at the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg School of Law. I am thankful for Darlene Thomas at Greenhouse 17 and Aubrey McGuire with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for their passionate service to the domestic violence victims in our community. We then attended Suits That Rock to benefit Legal Aid and my colleagues were absolutely amazing! We wrapped up the week at the Sneaker Ball for Community Action Council, which was also an outstanding event. We really do have excellent resources and leaders in our community.
