Heidi brings over 40 years of criminal law experience, including 24 years with the Lancaster County District Attorney's Office, where she became the county's first female First Assistant District Attorney. She's tried more than 300 cases — including 53 homicide prosecutions.

Proud to see our attorney Richard Berner (right) volunteering at the Cumberland County Bar Association’s Spring License & Record Review Clinic.

It’s always rewarding to be part of efforts that help members of our community move forward and access new opportunities.

We’re proud to share that CCBA’s Spring License & Record Review Clinic, held last week at New Life Community Church, was a success!

Thanks to the support of our incredible partners—New Life Community Church - Carlisle, Cumberland County Adult Probation & Parole, PA CareerLink Cumberland County, the DUI Association, Martson Law Offices, Johnson Duffie, and Penn State Dickinson Law students—we were able to assist 37 individuals in our community.

Of those served, 18 participated in license restoration and 24 in record review, with several now on track to begin their license restoration and/or expungement process this fall.

We’re grateful for the collaboration that makes this work possible and are already looking forward to continuing this important work at our fall clinic!
