National Drug Take Back

The DEA will be hosting their 14th National Prescription Drug Take Back Event scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office will be participating in the event and will encourage people to turn in medications at our secure drop box which is located at the Oneida County Sheriff's Office at 6075 Judd Rd. at the jail visitation area.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office also has drop boxes at the following locations:

1) Trenton Town Hall - Monday through Friday (business hours)

2) Waterville Village Hall - Monday through Friday (business hours)

The event does not include the collection of needles or liquids. For safety reasons, please ensure that all collected material is sealed in the cardboard boxes that we will provide. For more information regarding the disposal of needles, please refer to:
