Gwinnett County Police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Aleyah Messanga Johnston.

Messanga Johnston was reported missing by her father. She was last seen leaving the Villa Ridge Apartments in Lawrenceville after saying she was going for a walk and did not return. It is believed Messanga Johnston may be in Minnesota.

Messanga Johnston is 5’7” tall and weighs approximately 108 pounds. She has long black and purple braids (waist length), has a piercing on each side of her nose, as well as an upper and lower lip piercing.

Gwinnett County Police detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 27-year-old Donnie Josiah Lott III.

Lott was last seen on March 1, 2026, when he walked away from his mother while they were at Lenora Park in Snellville. Lott is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and tan boots.

If anyone has any information to share in this case, please contact GCPD detectives at 770.513.5300. The City of Lawrenceville held elections for two of its five positions on City Council and reports the following unofficial results: Newly elected Council member, Randy Travis, will take the Council Post 3 seat. Randy Travis received 1,062 votes, while Austin Thompson received 527 votes. Newly elected Council member, Bryant Harris, will take the Council Post 4 seat. Bryant Harris received 1,021 votes, while Marlene Taylor-Crawford received 562 votes. The new City Council members will assume their elected roles in January 2026, joining current Council members, Victoria Jones, Bruce Johnson, and Mayor David Still.
