All potential clients must participate in a telephonic application process to determine if they qualify for our assistance and that their legal issue is one that our program can assist with. Legal Volunteers is a non-profit organization that provides legal assistance at no cost to low-income citizens in nine southeast Indiana counties. The program consists of local private attorneys who volunteer

their time and provide high quality legal services to qualified clients in civil cases only. Our program is funded by the IOLTA program and local donations. The program is not subsidized by federal or state tax dollars. There is never a charge for attorney services.

Legal Volunteers is happy to announce we will be bringing back our 'Second Chance' and 'Self Help' Clinics.

Do you need help with: Specialized Driving Privileges? Expungements? Drivers Licenses Reinstatement? Reinstatement Fee Waivers? or Basic, non-legal related questions?

Then come to the Second Chance and Self Help clinic to see if you financially qualify for free legal assistance.

We assist individuals residing in Union, Franklin, Ripley, Dearborn, Ohio, Jefferson, and Switzerland County.

Where: This clinic will be held at the Dearborn County Court House
(165 Mary Street, Lawrenceburg, IN 47025)

When: 3rd Tuesday of the Month (June/August/September/October/November) from 1pm - 2pm.

Our program is funded by the IOLTA program and local donations. The program is not subsidized by federal or state tax dollars. There is never a charge for attorney services.

Our program cannot assist with: Change of Venue, CHINS Cases, Criminal Cases, Traffic Tickets, Fee generating Cases (such as personal injury), representation of incarcerated individuals, emergencies, workers compensation, cases filed in other pro bono districts, and any case against judicial/criminal justice system or government entity.
