OP COUNSEL: Basically, Mr. Romanucci’s client has failed to adult. ME: well if my client has failed to “adult” it is because OP counsel’s client has hindered her by refusing to “adult” himself. OP COUNSEL: What? What does that mean (air quotes) adult?
ME: I thought I was using it in the same sense as you. If you don’t know what a word means why are you using it?
