This past weekend, members of our community came together for the 26th Annual Saratoga Bridges Great Pumpkin Challenge, an event filled with energy, compassion, and remembrance.

For one family, the race has become a tradition of honoring the life of Nora Ann Pitts, who passed away at just three years old from mitochondrial disease. Each year, her loved ones and friends wear bunny ears as a symbol of Nora's memory, turning the 5K into something much greater than a race. It is a tribute, a celebration, and a reminder of the power of community.

We are proud that one of our own, Matt Dorsey, participated in this year's event, joining hundreds of others in support of Saratoga Bridges' important programs and the families they serve.

Events like this remind us that while grief is deeply personal, remembrance and resilience are strengthened when shared.
