There's been an alarming number of foreclosures in Clark County recently. Homeowners facing this hardship may participate in the Foreclosure Mediation Program, which gives them an opportunity to work with their mortgage company to try to avoid seizure of the property.

The outcome is not guaranteed, but homeowners may obtain a loan modification or make another agreement with their lender that resolves the missed payments. The foreclosure process is also paused until the mediation is complete, giving the homeowner time to find a resolution before they lose their home.

In order to participate in the program, a homeowner must file a petition with the court within 30 days of receiving a Notice of Default (the first official notice of foreclosure), which our team at the Civil Law Self-Help Center can assist with.

We delivered nearly 4,000 gifts to our foster youth clients thanks to last year's Foster the Future holiday drive with Anthem Injury Lawyers! Next Friday, we're kicking the 2026 drive off with a Trunk-or-Treat for the community with candy, games, and fun activities.

Join us from 5pm to 7pm on October 23 on the roof of the parking structure behind Anthem Injury Lawyers in Henderson (3145 St Rose Pkwy). Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift for a child in foster care.
