The Hawaiian word aloha is often translated as “hello” or “goodbye,” but its deeper meaning is rooted in kindness and compassion. It reminds me of as-salamu alaykum, “peace be upon you.”
That spirit was the perfect backdrop for my first State Bar of Nevada Annual Conference.
After years of attending larger conferences, I was struck by how personal this conference felt. Nevada’s legal community is small enough for late-night chai, engagement celebrations, and conversations that truly matter.
Grateful for the memories made, the conversations shared, and the reminder that professional community can also feel personal.
My sincere thanks to the State Bar of Nevada and the Insurance and Health Law Section for generously sponsoring my registration.
