THIS IS WHAT YAMAHA’S ROPS LOOK LIKE AFTER REAL-WORLD ROLLOVERS. A $7.4B dollar company ~ this is what they make and blame side by side owners in EVERY instance … Yamaha writes in their own story for each of their customers to make them sound bad.

In Van Tussenbrook, an Orange County jury found the 2016 Yamaha YXZ1000R defectively designed and awarded $26.3 million to a paralyzed plaintiff.

One year later, in Van Camp, another Orange County jury returned a defense verdict after a 8-week trial only deliberating for a little over 1 hour —even with evidence of multiple deformed ROPS before it.

We believe the Van Camp jury got it wrong.

These photographs are not theories. They show what happened to multiple Yamaha YXZ rollover-protection structures. A ROPS that collapses into the occupant space is not protection.

Yamaha defended its design. The public deserves to see the evidence and decide for itself.

YAMAHA - wins at Trial. May be just for now … An overwhelming welcomed amount of national trial lawyers • top in their field • have messaged and called me sharing advice, stories, and words of inspiration. It’s been so appreciated. An ORANGE COUNTY jury who seemed to just want to go home after 7-weeks deliberated for ONLY a little over 1-hour on a complex product defect case sending my clients, the VAN CAMPS, home with nothing. THIS WAS AFTER I stated in rebuttal closing, that’s exactly what Yamaha wants, the jury to be tired and to get out of there. Sharing the loss is sometimes more important than a won to show how corporations manage to do anything to win. One fact - Yamaha never crash or drop tested this rollcage in the real world - ever.
