My advice before the documentary was simple: don’t do it.

You might recognize me from Mike Clum’s documentary, The Sick Mind of EDP445. I was brought in to discuss the potential criminal-defense issues surrounding what was being shown and said.

One of the biggest mistakes people make when they may be under investigation is trying to explain, defend, or even brag about alleged conduct publicly.

Your friends, followers, and the internet are not protected conversations. Your attorney is the person you should be talking to.

Once those statements are public, investigators, prosecutors, and others may be able to review them.
