· I’m a Transplant from Chicago, IL & relocated to Las Vegas, NV in 1979 while on vacation to get away from the snow (did you know there is a Las Vegas, NM and it snows there? Well, I didn’t). For some reason I’m the only one in my family that’s Organized and Detailed-Oriented. Some people consider this a chore but it comes very easy and Logical to me. Goals and Follow Through are very important to me and I don’t quit until the task is done. A prime example: It took me 24 years to get a college degree, but I remained focused to keep pursing my goal and finally graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. I don’t have any hidden agendas in my personal or business relationships so being Personable and transparent is very easy for me. Life has a way of teaching us to lessons and making us stronger no matter how old we are. As a Divorced Baby Boomer after 22 years of marriage I learned that I was more Flexible and Accepting than I gave myself credit for. This experienced developed a passion for me to reach out and help other women who felt lost and needed support, encouraging and a Great Listener after enduring such a mid-life crisis. Little did they know they were a huge help to me also. I love Spontaneous traveling which is how I got to Las Vegas, and I enjoy golfing but I have to admit I’m not great, so I consider myself to be truly a FAIR Weather Golfer (No Rain, Wind or Sun - Just Want To Have Fun!)
FAMILY:
· Being Family Oriented is very important to me. I have two (2) daughters, five (5) grandchildren, two (2) grand-dogs and a 100 year young mother who moved in with me AFTER my Big D and she still treats me like I’m her little girl😊 I’m very proud of my family and our accomplishments. There’s an old saying, “The Apple Doesn’t Fall Too Far From The Tree” and we owe our apples to the tree, my mother. Mom raised me to always put God First in everything I do and to always Live and Uphold the 3 R’s. No Matter What Always be (Responsible, Respectful, and Resourceful). That’s how I raised my daughters and now they are raising their children with those same Golden Rules.
PROFESSION:
· I’ve always been a Hard-Working, person, one of my acquired traits from my mother. The majority of my work experience was in management (even though I didn’t get my degree until late in my professional career. Business & Management has always been easy for me and I also found it easy to be a Leader. All you have to do is treat people like you want your family to be treated be Ethical, Faithful, Loyal, Honest, and most of all Respectful and people will follow (of course there are exceptions😉)
· I possess the perfect blend of professionalism and dedication in achieving your unique real estate goals. I’ve been a Business Owner and the most recent was with my ex-husband. Even though I’m no long a business partner, I’m still the licensed contractor for the company.
· I have15+ yrs Customer Service Call-Center Management experience with Las Vegas Del Webb Sun City Active Adult Communities. I implemented the Call-Center as means and resolution to handle and direct calls from three (3) communities to one (1). I was an integral part of the team that opened and closed three (3) Sun City communities.
· After a successful career as Customer Service Call-Center Manager, I transferred my Detailed-Oriented personality and Customer Service skill set to the real estate industry in 2000. I was part of a 12 staff New Home Sales Associates Team that opened the new Del Webb/Pulte Homes Sun City Aliante community in the newly developed North Las Vegas area. We were pioneers because there was nothing out there but dirt and mountains. We had to learn how to drive 4-wheel trucks to show properties, read plot plans and sell a vision of what the community would look like in 2-5 years. Sun City Aliante is now 15 years later – Sun City Aliante is surrounded by other communities, schools, libraries, a casino and freeway. Being part of that team was an AWESOME Experience!
