Twenty-five years later, we still feel it. In the quiet of this morning, in the stories we carry, in the lives that were forever changed.
On that day, we were reminded of something that no law, no policy, no document can fully capture, the strength of a nation is its people. The ones who showed up without being asked. The firefighters, the first responders, the neighbors, the strangers who became family in the middle of the unthinkable.
Not because we have to, because we choose to remember. That choice is how we honor them. That choice is what keeps a nation whole.
Different stories. One nation. A memory that unites us still.
Never forget.
