You can’t control whether your kids will get along after you’re gone. What you can control is how clearly your estate plan lays out what happens next.
Your estate plan should address who gets what, when they receive it, and what happens if someone can’t or shouldn’t receive an inheritance directly. If there are concerns like addiction or other circumstances that could put an inheritance at risk, those should be addressed in the trust ahead of time.
Don’t leave your family to figure it out after you’re gone. Call Short & Stevens Law at (702) 916-3444 to start planning ahead.
