DID YOU KNOW?

If you are arrested for DWI in Texas, you may be dealing with two separate cases:

1. Your driver’s license case, the ALR proceeding
2. Your criminal DWI case

Each has its own process and deadlines.

You generally have 15 days from the date of arrest to request an ALR hearing. If you miss that deadline, you may lose the opportunity to challenge the suspension of your driver’s license.

Contact an attorney as soon as possible after a DWI arrest so important deadlines are not missed.

Most people do not realize how quickly this process starts.
