Michigan Realtors® 2026 President Mark Oegema, Realtor® Keith Pionk, and VP of Public Policy and Legal Affairs Brad Ward attended the ceremonial signing of Senate Bill 23 yesterday. Now a new Public Act, this bill increases the number of splits allowed under the Land Division Act and gives local government the ability to approve additional splits beyond state law. This is an important tool for developers and local government to work together to address Michigan’s housing shortage.
