Client suffered a single fractured rib after a car in which she was a passenger was t-boned in a traffic circle. Defendant's insurer offered $12,000 in settlement during most of the pandemic. Shortly before trial it increased its offer to $26,000. After a two-and-a-half day trial in the Prince George's County Circuit Court in which the jury was selected remotely using Zoom and the remainder of the trial was conducted in-person using COVID-19 protocols, the jury returned an $80,000 verdict. This was a fair result in light of all that my client went through as a result of the fracture and how the now healed fracture continues to intermittently effect her life.

I am pleased to announce that the firm has moved to 4601 Presidents Drive, Suite 120, Lanham, MD 20706 after 6+ years at 4300 Forbes Boulevard in Lanham. Setting aside the pandemic, I'm hoping that the next 5 years are at least as good as the past 5 years have been.

Now that it owns it, I hope that the DC Gov't does a good job redesigning this circle. It has been an awful intersection during the 30+ years I've been coming into DC.

It was nicknamed after the founder of the Wendy’s fast-food chain, which has a restaurant in the middle of the confusing intersection.
