You're invited! 🍂

The Lancaster Bar Association and Lancaster Law Foundation are opening our doors for a Fall Open House Breakfast, and we'd love to welcome our members, community partners and friends!

Join us on Tuesday, October 20 from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at LBA Headquarters for breakfast and an opportunity to learn more about the work of the LBA and LLF.

We'll also celebrate our 2026 LLF Community Grant recipients, introduce you to members of our Boards of Directors, and offer a chance to tour our historic headquarters at 28 East Orange Street.

Whether you already know us well or would simply like to learn more about what we do in the Lancaster community, we hope you'll stop by!

Interested in mediation? There's still time to register.

Registration for Advoz's 40-hour Basic Mediation Training closes October 5.

The interactive program offers hands-on training in the Facilitative Mediation Model, conflict resolution, co-mediation, confidentiality, ethics and Pennsylvania mediation standards.

⚖️ 36 CLE credits, including 4 ethics credits
📅 Training begins October 19
💻 In-Person & Virtual

As the LBA ADR Committee works to finalize its updated Mediation and Arbitration Program, this training may be a valuable opportunity for attorneys interested in developing their mediation skills.

Please note that LBA mediator qualifications and the application process are still being finalized. Completion of the Advoz training does not, by itself, establish eligibility to serve as an LBA mediator.

The 2026 Bench Bar Conference begins Thursday, September 17, and one of our first stops will be Bites with the Bench, our Welcome Reception at The Wayward.

We're grateful to Barley Snyder Attorneys at Law for sponsoring the Opening Reception and helping us give Bench Bar attendees a great start to the conference.

Could mediation be part of your practice?

Advoz's upcoming Basic Mediation Training gives attorneys an opportunity to develop practical skills through interactive training and hands-on experience.

The 40-hour program focuses on the Facilitative Mediation Model and covers conflict resolution, co-mediation, confidentiality, ethics, and Pennsylvania mediation standards.

Participants can earn 36 CLE credits, including 4 ethics credits.

The LBA ADR Committee is also working to launch an updated Mediation and Arbitration Program. Program requirements and mediator qualifications are still being finalized and will be shared following committee and Board approval.

We're getting closer to our Bench Bar Conference in Philadelphia!

One of the events we're especially looking forward to at the 2026 Bench Bar Conference is Friday evening's dinner in Flagmakers Hall following our visit to the Betsy Ross House.
