Law Office of Carrie Lott, LLC is looking to hire a legal support staff or paralegal. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: communicating with clients, governmental agencies, court staff, and professionals; scheduling appointments, docketing deadlines, and maintaining a calendar; drafting correspondence; preparing legal documents; typing legal descriptions; recording documents; preparing mailings; copying, scanning, and filing documents; opening and closing files; ordering office supplies; and running errands. Must have strong communication and organizational skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products-- Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be attentive to detail and have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with real estate closings and having the ability to read legal descriptions and perform limited title searches a plus. Having a notary public commission or a willingness to obtain one required. Initial work schedule can be flexible. Applicant could start part-time, but must become full-time within six months. Competitive pay commensurate with experience and company match Simple IRA plan offered.
