Smart devices are only "smart" if the new owner actually knows how to use them.
Smart home features can be genuinely convenient, but it's a mistake to assume every device transfers smoothly to a new owner. A home can have impressive technology and still leave real questions about access, subscriptions, compatibility, and maintenance after move-in.
Before closing on a Denver Metro home with smart features, it's worth asking:

• Which accounts need to be transferred
• Whether any features require paid subscriptions
