It’s honestly wild how hard you sometimes have to fight just to get basic blood work done. When this journey first started, I was told everything was “normal.” But deep down, I knew something wasn’t right. It felt like once the ALS diagnosis was given, the curiosity stopped and the concern faded.
So I took my health into my own hands.
I completely changed my diet and went all fruit and herbs. Three months later, I ran the same labs again and the results spoke for themselves. My inflammation dropped significantly. My CRP went from 6 to less than 1. When I showed one of my doctors, she said it was impossible without even knowing what I had changed.
That moment confirmed what I already believed. Our bodies are intelligent. God designed them to respond when we create the right environment. Healing doesn’t always come from one place it comes from alignment of the body, the mind, and the spirit.
There’s so much more I want to share, but it will come in due time.
What I’ve learned through trial and error is this: if you don’t fight for your health, no one else will. We are called to be good stewards of the bodies God has given us.
To everyone who has supported my journey through prayers, encouragement, sharing, or financial support thank you. Especially during a season when I haven’t been able to work, your support has meant more than you could ever know.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2
I’m staying the course. I’m listening to my body. And I’m trusting God every step of the way.
