If you own INMO AIR3 smart glasses, stop and check your pair.

About 1,643 have been recalled after reports that part of the glasses can overheat during extended use.

Ten overheating incidents have been reported, including burning sensations to the face and ear.

The CPSC says owners should stop using affected glasses and contact INMO for a free repair.

Don’t keep using a recalled product because nothing has happened yet.

Check the model and follow the recall instructions.

Traffic slowed suddenly on I-94 near the Lowry Tunnel.

Our client slowed with it. The semi-truck behind him couldn't stop in time.

He died in the crash, leaving behind his wife, two sons and two grandchildren.

In retirement, he had become his grandchildren's primary daycare provider.

He served more than 20 years on the Anoka County Fair Board and was active in 4-H, the Stockman's Association and other community groups. More than 600 people came to honor him.

The company that arranged the shipment isn't painted on the side of the truck.

Freight brokers match shippers with trucking companies. For years, they could get injury claims against them dismissed, even when they hired a carrier with a poor safety record that was visible in federal databases.

That changed on May 14, 2026, in Montgomery v. Caribe Transport II. Now, when a broker carelessly hires an unsafe carrier, injured victims can include the broker in their claim.

This matters because many small trucking companies carry only the minimum insurance federal law requires.

A new workers’ compensation law brings several changes for injuries occurring on or after October 1, 2026, including:

✅Higher compensation amounts for some permanent partial disabilities.

✅Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners can now diagnose PTSD for workers’ comp claims.

✅The “pay-and-investigate” period increases from 60 to 90 days.

✅The date of your injury can determine which rules apply to your claim.

Our client was a bricklayer who was seriously injured in a car crash caused by an underinsured driver.

The collision shattered his knee, femur, and hip, injuries that disrupted his ability to work and live life as he knew it. When he turned to his own insurance company for underinsured motorist benefits, the claim was disputed.

With Attorney Jeff Sieben and the SiebenCarey team by his side, the case went to trial in Dakota County District Court.

The jury heard the full scope of the injuries, the impact on our client’s livelihood, and the responsibility that remained when coverage fell short.

The result was a $793,000 verdict against American Family Insurance Company, a significantly larger award than what was originally requested.

What a day at Saturday's 4th Annual Minnesota Building and Construction Trades Council Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Ribfest!

SiebenCarey teamed up once again with IBEW Local 292 to compete, and even with the rough weather, the turnout was fantastic. We didn't place as high as last year, but everyone had a great time. Most importantly, we raised a lot of money for military families in need, and that's what this event is all about.
