Most Parenting Plans have similar language that includes travel time lines like you have to give the other parent 30 days written notice and an itinerary within 15 days of travel including flight information details.
But…did you know BOTH parents have to sign a minor’s passport application?
😩 What if one parent refuses?
Well, you could just wait to travel to Greece until after your son turned 18 to avoid the bulls*t. Or…
“Both parents shall cooperate and properly execute a passport application when presented by the other parent. The presenting parent shall pay for said application (or the parties shall equally split said cost). The father shall hold the minors passport in odd years and the mother shall hold it in even years. Upon written request, the holding parent shall provide the passport within 24 hours and return it 24 hours after return of trip.”
Enjoy your trip!!
