As the appointed Director of Legal and Justice Advocacy at Project Worth, I am honored to introduce this important new nonprofit organization and share the work we are doing to support survivors of sexual abuse and advocate for meaningful change.
I am especially proud of one of my former clients, Kerri Gerhardy, for founding Project Worth, her tireless efforts in passing Wisconsin Act 200 (“Kerri’s Law”) in Wisconsin, and her continued commitment to advocating for survivors. Her courage, determination, and dedication to creating meaningful change are an inspiration and a powerful example of survivor-centered advocacy in action.
Project Worth is dedicated to raising awareness, advancing survivor-centered advocacy, and working toward stronger protections, accountability, and justice through legislative and systemic change. Our mission is to elevate survivors’ voices, educate communities, and advocate for reforms that help create a safer and more just future.
Through my role in legal and justice advocacy, I am committed to helping drive efforts that address gaps in our systems, promote meaningful reform, and create safer communities for all. I look forward to sharing Project Worth’s work and connecting with others who believe in the importance of advocacy, education, and justice. --Anna O'Connor. Learn more at: projectworthwi.org
