Morgan and Getzan

10/16/2026

Today is National Boss’s Day, and the team at Morgan & Getzan would like to give a special shoutout to our incredible leader, Roberta Getzan. To show our appreciation of Roberta, we asked each member of our team for just one word to describe her…and not a single person could choose just one word! Roberta, thank you for being all these things, and more. We are so incredibly lucky and grateful to have you as the leader of our team.
With love

406 pairs of socks. One very full wagon. And a wonderful reminder of the generosity of our Lake City, Florida community.

To our Legacy Protection Program clients and our Morgan & Getzan team: thank you. Your generosity filled much more than a wagon. It demonstrated what it means to care for the community we call home.

At our Annual Client Meeting, members of Morgan & Getzan’s Legacy Protection Program joined our team in collecting socks for a community service project sponsored by Altrusa International of Lake City.

Together, our clients and employees donated 406 pairs of new socks to benefit older adults living in local assisted living facilities and nursing homes-something simple that can provide comfort, warmth, and dignity to a neighbor who may be facing financial hardship.

This project is especially meaningful to Roberta Getzan who has been a member of Altrusa International of Lake City for many years, including serving on its board and as a past president. Roberta continues to be grateful for the organization’s commitment to literacy, service, and caring for seniors in our community.

We were proud to deliver all 406 pairs to Altrusa at yesterday’s meeting so they can make their way to local seniors who can use them.
