Kevin Fouquier II has lived in Louisiana since he was 13 years old and considers Lafayette to be his home.
From an early age he was driven by a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail. He graduated from Comeaux High School where his dedication and performance in the classroom, as well as the football field, earned him a full-ride scholarship to play college football at the University of Louisiana. As a middle linebacker for the Ragin Cajuns, Kevin’s exceptional discipline and teamwork helped him to continue to excel; becoming both a critical component of the team’s defense as well as a respected leader both on and off the field.
Kevin’s ambitions extended beyond the gridiron; he always knew he wanted to use his talents to make a difference in the lives of the people in his hometown. Upon his college graduation, he was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate in Political Science and went on to represent the University of Louisiana at our state’s capitol as a FLIP award winner.
Kevin then pursued his dream of becoming a lawyer by attending LSU Paul M. Hebert Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor degree and actively participated in the school’s advocacy and mediation programs and clubs. Upon graduation he became a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association as well as the Lafayette Bar Association.
Thereafter, he joined a prominent national law firm at which time he developed his skills as a formidable trial attorney. He advocated for clients in a wide range of legal matters and became well known as a compassionate attorney with a strong work ethic, attention to detail with an understanding of the sensitive nature of family law, estate planning and business law matters.

When Kevin is not working hard on behalf of his clients, Kevin enjoys playing golf, hunting and cooking for his family, Mia (Schorr) Fouquier and children Ava and Stephen Michael. He and their friends can often be found cheering on either one of his alma maters.
Kevin also enjoys giving back to the Lafayette community through coaching youth sports. He is a firm believer in the power of community engagement and is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
