My friends at Optimist run an amazing Doc Club every month. In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’ll be watching and discussing Periodical, an eye-opening documentary that examines science, politics, and mystery of the menstrual cycle, through the experiences of doctors, athletes, movie stars, journalists, activists, and everyday people. Through innovative mixed media storytelling, this film is for everyone who wants to know more about the menstrual cycle, and especially for those who don’t.
