Quarterly, our Lafayette team hosts an educational event for realtors in Acadiana. Our Q1 Brunch & Learn was focused on what we call the “basics” - where each affiliate shed some introductory knowledge about their field.

For Q2, we decided on “Beyond the Basics,” for agents who have already obtained the introductory knowledge of each field, but wanted a deeper dive into the world of lending, inspections, home insurance & title work!

We heard from Liz Breaux with SFMC Home Loans on downpayment assistance, eligibility for these programs & how she educates your buyers on it all!

Then we learned about home insurance in real time from Shella Johnson with Goosehead. Shella’s knowledge and client-focused mindset didn’t go unnoticed.

Carey Leger then informed us on the importance of sewer scope inspections! If your inspector isn’t offering sewer scope inspections, reach out to Carey!

Last, we heard from Adriane Gulotta with Legacy Title on the importance of title insurance and ways it can protect buyers. She covered six instances where title insurance came into play, and inevitably, helped the buyer protect their property!

We’re growing in Acadiana! 🎉

First and foremost, we want to say thank you to our amazing clients for your continued trust and support. Because of you, Legacy Title continues to grow across the Acadiana area — and we’re excited to expand our team.

We are now hiring a Title Attorney to sit alongside Adriane Gulotta in our Lafayette office!

Position Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Strong people skills and the ability to build relationships
• Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and representing Legacy Title at events
• Interest or experience in real estate/title work is a plus

We’re looking for someone who is professional, personable, and excited to be part of a growing team servicing Lafayette and surrounding areas!

Carr Chiropractic offered chair massages to the hardworking realtors!
