Today our firm received notice of a NOT GUILTY verdict resulting from a bench trial held in Morgan County about 10 days ago!

Attorney Alex Robbins represented a client accused of three counts of criminal mischief and was able to successfully defend the client and secure acquittal on all three counts.

Last week, attorney Alex Robbins attended a conference hosted by the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers titled "Making Sense of Science: Forensic Science, Technology & the Law." Over two days, he studied several forensic subjects, such as shooting reconstruction and ballistics, K-9 searches and the common problems with them, memory science, toxicology, and crime scene investigation.

Next month, our attorney Jacob Ahler will attend the Indiana State Bar Association's solo and small firm conference, where he'll learn more about probate and estate administration, crafting narratives in self-defense cases, cryptocurrency in family law cases, and preparing clients for mediation.

All lawyers are required to partake in some continuing legal education each year. But at Ahler & Robbins, our attorneys do more than go through the motions - they are dedicated to continuing to improve as lawyers for the benefit of each and every client they serve.

It begins more than 15 years at Wabash College, where our partners, Jacob and Alex, were fraternity brothers and roommates.
