When is it time to start long-term care planning?

Look for these early signals 👇

• Safety concerns at home
• Medication mix-ups or missed doses
• Caregiver burnout or overwhelm
• Financial confusion or unpaid bills

These moments don’t always mean an immediate crisis, but they are important warning signs.

The key is timing: legal and care planning work best while a person can still fully participate in decisions and clearly express their wishes. A little planning now can prevent a lot of uncertainty later.
